Roger just pointed out something to me that is a mistake in the rigging manual. The boom should be 90 inches overall instead of 91 inches. If you've made yours 91 inches and put the outhaul rack flush with the end, it will cause your mainsail foot to be really tight even when in the most forward hole. Sorry for the inconvenience to those who have rigged their booms. The good thing is that the mistake is not in the other direction. Best regards, Bram |
