I didn't think there was a dry place on a skiff once up to full speed and
waves. You would alslo like to have a remote mounted on your harness so
that you can trim from the wire. Since you are wired with winches etc. you
might also want to add a threaded drive system to change the tension of
the shrouds while underway since hydralics are outlawed.
I once helped rig and 18 that the owner could not afford the propper
system and just put a two ton jack under the mast base. They actually won
because the only rig he had was the short one and the other boats either
capsised or fell apart when the wind picked up.
After that there would be the need for the beer cooler and dispenser inset
next to the mast base.

I like the self-tailing winch but can one buy it in electric so that you
dont have to bother with holding the spinn sheet or go to the low side
at all? We might be able to use two anchor windlass' and keep the sheets
inside a storage locker behind each windlass so the deck doesnt get wet
and slippery.
