A couple of important things need to be done for our regatta.
We need someone with some writing skills to write the story of the regatta.
We can assign one person to record mark roundings to help with the article
but need our writer to do interviews with the first couple of boats after each
day. We can coordinate this story with some good photos and send it out to
Wooden Boat along with a mass launching story. In addition, we should send
it out to a couple of yacht club newsletters (Corinthian YC in Seattle has
already asked for it and assured us space in "leadline").
We have a number of people with good digital cameras (5 megapixles or
better) but could use someone on a photo boat with a good SLR for Magazines
that
require slide film.
The third thing we need is a volunteer or two to drive the airport to
transport some of our competitors or clinic attendees.
