Just a note to let everyone know that I've sold both 032 and 002 to some
local sailors who will be racing with me this summer at Shilshole. Ed
Holloway
bought 032 and Ron Watt owns 002. Both are coming to Florida and Ron has
honored my commitment to let Kris Henderson sail 002 during the regatta and
Steve to sail it a bit at other times. You will likely recognize these names
as
both are continuing to build their Swifts but just couldn't get them in the
water for this season (at least early season) and decided that these boats are
a good investment. I still have 013 and am meeting with Kris to have him
build Chris Wickham and myself a couple of Swifts (I need to own two so I have
one to loan out).
It's an exciting time in both Seattle and Vancouver and look for 15 Swifts
in Seattle by seasons end 2007. I would expect Vancouver to be right behind
Seattle. With the three Swifts that will soon be launched in NY, It is likely
to come on a bit this year and start serious growth in 2007 as well. Other
areas should experience pressure this year also.
I'll be leaving on January 29th for two weeks of skiing in Canada. This is
up north a bit and I don't know if my phone will work but call me anyway if
you have a problem. As everyone knows by now, you will likely get good
answers by posting your question on this list server as well.
I'm trying desperately to get the sail prices updated and have not received
an answer from Banks yet. I'll try again tomorrow so that everyone can get
their order in by February 15 to ensure that we'll have the sails for Florida.
