Please keep in mind that when you send mail to the Swift Solo mailing list,
you're sending mail to around 10 people in the Seattle area, and a few
hundred people who aren't. (There are many more people who are not in the
same hemisphere as Seattle as there are in the Seattle area.) Moreover,
many of the local Seattle people aren't members of the CYC (I'm not).
The Swift Solo mailing list is to be used for Swift-related communications
related to building, sailing, events, and war stories.

Please bring your ballots or mail them in to CYC so that we get them before
the start of the AGM
See old friends, make new ones and share stories about the season of
cruising and racing we have all enjoyed. Meet the candidates who will lead
the club over the next year and then vote in the election.
The Annual General Meeting, along with the Annual Awards Presentation and
the Open House, is one of the few truly social events we have. It is an
important evening and a chance for you, as a member, to touch base with the
organization. A chance to learn about the issues facing us in the near term
and an opportunity offer your thoughts and ideas.

Did you fill out the ballot?
Please remember to stop by and vote if you haven't done so already. The
official ballot is in the October CYC Leadline on page 5. You can also go
online to http://cycseattle.org/leadline/octll.pdf and print out the page if
you wish. If you can't make it to the AGM please drop off or mail in your
ballot before the meeting on November 13th. It is important that CYC members
take the time to vote.
