A friend at work suggested putting dowels through the holes I had drilled to sight the laser through - this way, moving one station would affect the others similarly, and keep them together as a group. I used 3/16" steel piano wire I picked up from a local hobby store - and it works like a charm. Makes it a lot easier to adjust the strongback templates together.
