All the pieces involved in hanging the hull say "not to be used when hanging overhead." So a little stress test was required. I weigh around 180 lbs. The rope has a "safe working weight" of 90 lbs. The pulley has a SWW of 110 lbs. If I can put almost all my weight on this system, then I figure it can pretty easily handle 1/4th the weight of the boat. (There will be four of these at four hoist points.)
