And the winch assembly at the bottom. The winch is held on by three bolts which run through the two 2x4s - 1/4" and 2x 3/16". And a bunch of long lag screws to hold the 2x4s to the post. I wanted to have this whole thing glued to the post, but it didn't pan out - there was enough bend in the post that they wouldn't mate.
