And then rip off the mylar. The mylar at the tack-free stage is very tightly bonded to the epoxy. It's hard to remove it without ripping it, ripping a layer of the s-glass off with it, causing the spreader to bend... Of all these problems, ripped mylar is the least problematic. (All the others would reduce the strength of the part.)
