Getting the carbon sleeve ready. I slid this on to a PVC pipe kicking around - the PVC is wide enough to let the foam core pass through unimpeded, and then I will slide the carbon sleeve off on to the layup. I couldn't get all of the sleeve on to the pipe - part of it I just rolled up on a newspaper around a vacuum tube of about the same width.
