I cut my spreaders too short. Sigh. So while I'm waiting for new blanks to arrive, I figured I would prepare an idea Greg suggested: putting sheer webs inside the spreaders for strength. Sounds good to me. I took a bunch of scraps (which would have gone to the garbage, they were thin enough), and layed them out in a strip. Bond this together, cut to the right width, cut the spreader form in half, bond the strip in place, and proceed as usual.
