Wetsand all that down (again). I wasn't intending to do this - I figured I would just put on three coats back-to-back and call it good. But the second coat caused drips, and I didn't want to get up at 4 am and put on another one (and leave the garage door open all night), and the sanding seemed to help the varnish anyway. And a little wetsanding never hurt anyone, after all.
