Hi again,
My dam broke making the spinpole launcher
I placed Brams plan tube in the bowsprit cut out
More prep and planning was required.
a leak proof dam would of been nice
maybe heavier milled plastic not saran or packaging plastic
the whole tube plastic wrapped to be sure
My problem, epoxy runs downhill.
My epoxy was not thickened enough
the plastic melted with the heat of the epoxy setting
It ran down past the plastic sheeting onto the deck almost making the tube
part of the deck.
fortunately the s-glass wrap was still green as I was able to slit the top
and pry the tube out minus it's outer covering
Beginner's luck
All is well, just a lot more sanding than I planned
