Howdy sailors!

I actually live in Madison and know some of the guys involved with this regatta. It's been growing better every year. In fact partially what motivated me to build a Swift. If you have never sailed in Madison this is a great opportunity to visit one of the best sailing hot spots in the country!

Fire me an e-mail if you need help finding a place to crash or the likes....

To: Swifts in the Midwest, Short notice I know but this looks like a great regatta and a great opportunity to sail and at the least to show the boat to people who might be interested in skiff sailing. If you have the time, showing at this regatta would be a good start to growing the fleet in your area - everyone's responsibility! Even if you are not going to race. Please support the Midwest high-performance sailing group if you can. The sparkplug contact is the I14 chick glampert@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

June 10-12 3rd Annual Midwest Skiff Challenge!
This is the third annual Madison Skiff Challenge. It is organized by the Midwest High Performance Sailing group (http://www.highperformancesailing.org ) and hosted by The Madison Sailing Center, Madison, Wisconsin.  This is going to be the event of the year for mid-west skiff sailing that you really don’t want to miss! We are hoping to use this to promote skiff sailing through demos and rides for those without a boat and support, coaching and some racing for those with a boat.

We have people coming from Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis and beyond. This has been a great annual event. Some of the boats that should be there: Vectors, International 14’s, 470's. This event is open to any skiff or similar boat.

So, if you want to sail fast (No boat? Boat but no crew? We’ll be happy to help match people and boats) then check the website and register!

Please see the Notice of Race on the website as well as registration information, accommodation recommendation, and other info.

Please come for any or all of the event... and please register so we have a head count!

 Hope to see you there!
