I'm thinking of a different block. There are some which are forward
of the step, 40" back from station 0, maybe 1 inch in from the
gunwale. The map says they are the "righting line cheek blocks" and
to "check for proper alignment with exit from toe rail".
I just bolted my trapeze line cheek blocks in place... If I can get
the righting line done, I think that's it for backing blocks...
