Mark Just run the tape flush with the top of the deck and the bottom of the hull and don't radius the opening. Your insert blocks need to transfer 100% of the load from the blade to the hull skin and the deck skin (not the sides of the trunk). A radius will only leave less area to take the load and may transfer part of it to the trunk sides (will cause a leak). Best regards, Bram |
