poetry in hiding
I sail to play
Awareness vs trial by error
adding intelligence to this adventure
my path to better sailing was to remain dry
Sorry it won't happen I laugh
because you feel the mist of the sky
the spray of the waves
you ride the waves as you dance on your feet
to maintain that edge of balance by might of will and daring
to give in or lean against and ask for more of wind
a pendulum you judge by chance your senses don't deceive you
I am armed with tuned weapons this time to tame that nature
man has dreamed he could someday win
only to go faster but the waves will always win
a big air gapper a sudden momentum stopper
what gives may break your limit by repetition
so we test ourselves
are you ready to play against me
a game we play
a race to win
really
is nature included
is nature the sea and all within
the wave and the tides
the swells and the currents
is wind a must and the rain included
a still air to test your patience
in the fog no shore to be found
a warm sun we seek
a nice sandy beach
it's rocks all around
with fidged water so cold it won't matter for long
so how do you prepare
my race against you or nature
I like Robert Harpers saying
regards Ken
ya gotta love the adventure
I love people so races are good
nobody really wins, we just have fun
