We have received some suggestions for regatta site and it is not too late to
propose another venue. The suggestions for the 2007 Swift Solo NA
Championship and Clinics are as follows:
Huntington Lake, CA CAN063, USA028, USA074, USA033
Higgins Lake, MI USA056
Cascades Locks, WA AUS066, USA007, AUS077
Jericho, CAN CAN048
Seattle, WA (Shilshole) CAN046
Please help the committee gather the information below regarding the sites
that are proposed so far. Your response by October 15th will be greatly
appreciated.
Wind records.
Rainfall averages.
Temperatures.
Is there a yacht club/organization there in place that can provide race
committee/rescue.
What are the costs involved with the above service.
Any required permits and fees.
Two stroke or four stroke motors allowed on the lake.
Lodging - camping, cabins, motels.
Are registrations required for boats, local and or out of state.
