Bram, For those of us that are using the latest Jib Downhaul Setup with the NY Skiff's Carbon Bow Fitting, we may have the original eyestrap for the old Jib Downhaul Setup mounted just starboard of the mast step. Will this eyestrap, with a couple of swivel blocks, work in place of the new bevel block with two cheek blocks setup detailed in your New Adjustable Forestay PDF? See photo below. Also, I have the 3/16" Precourt Systems Synthetic Rigging Fittings for the forestay. Would these work in place of the Harken Becket Blocks and sheaves, in terms of purchase and adjustability from the new cleats, while underway? Bill Scheumann USA020 and USA040
