Grinding chainplate boltsWarren,

I used a hack saw, since I didn't have a dremel tool at the time, then rounded
the edges with a file, to remove burs. If you use some kind of grinder, it may
throw hot pieces of slag that can melt into the surrounding surfaces, (i.e.
your deck), so you may want to cover the surrounding areas.

I saw a couple of boats at the July regatta where the chainplate bolts had
been ground down, so the pin would fit through the gudgeon plate.

What is the best way to do this? Some kind of dremel attachment? I need to
grind mine down, so far I don't have a good idea how to do it.

  Thanks

  Warren
