In my conversation with Roger of Aquilo Boats, he mentioned that a lot of builders were making the end posts of the centreboard trunk out of 3/4" solid wood. I decided to follow, and built these. To do this, I cut the wood out of some scrap solid cedar lying around, then painted them with epoxy and wrapped them in hybrid. I then painted the hybrid with epoxy, and wrapped them in plastic, and put them in this press.
