Once it all looks good, pre-drill pilot holes so the screws will ensure the correct alignment of the trunk. I used #10 3/4" screws for this, so they wouldn't pop out the other side of the post. I had to use the corded drill for this, because the cordless drill wouldn't fit between bulkhead 6 and the t-soldier - another reason to put in the soldiers last.
