OK, there are about 20 people signed up for this list now (up from 13
on Monday morning). I'll get the ball rolling.
This list is intended to discuss building, sailing, and other matters
related to Bram Dally's Swift Solo. Ideally, this is the place to
start with a question, rather than going to Bram (because Bram is
crushed in email at the moment). As we all get going, there are bound
to be other people who have solved the same problems, and this is a
great forum to share the solutions.
What I'd like to do here is see where everyone is, and how far along
they are in building. Here's my information:
I'm in Issaquah, Washington, and have seen Bram's boat (it's great!).
I'm just at the point of getting quotes for the cedar stripping.
Right now i'm leaning towards a B.C. supplier Raven -

I've also done some research on the materials (glass, resin, etc.) and
it looks like the best supplier is John R Sweet
http://johnrsweet.com/index.html which is one that Bram's site
recommends. It's got everything, and the prices are good.
Other recommendations?
