1/4" off transom?

Bram,
I have cut 1/4 inch from the top of all 8 soldiers, bulkheads 6 and 8, and 
the partial bulkheads for 7, 10 and 12.  I will also cut 1/4 inch off the top 
of 
the centerboard trunk/mast step.
Do I need to cut 1/4 inch off the top of the transom?
