Warren,
here is a picture of the bow piece in place, notice station 1/2 below the
strips. I cut the hull at 90 degrees, it could have been cut at more of an
angle sloping back and up aft from the deck line, the last strip at the deck
line about an 1 to 1 1/4 inches longer. the strips immediately above (below)
the nose piece are not overlapping and need a fillet and glass reinforcement.
the whole thing gets rounded off (by sanding) after the nose piece is
installed. you will end up with a gap between the bow shape form and the hull,
between the keel line and the bow line, right in the curve. it gets filled
later. i hope this helps.
