In response to Greg's latest e-mail;
Aquilo boats is gearing up to manufacture ALL of the parts for the Swift Solo.
Bram and I have checked the CNC cut stations against the templates, and they
are good to go. We spent the last four days in Vancouver testing the Aquilo
Swift "North Wind" and all the components in 8-18 knot winds and everything
stood up to the punishment dished out by a variety of skilled and not so
skilled sailors. :) (Apart from one tiller arm which did not like being used
as a trampoline!)
Over the next few weeks I will be updating the website with components
available as well as their prices. If you have a need for any components before
you see them on the website, please contact me and we can get working on those
for you right away.
Happy building...... it is so worth it when you see your Swift pulling away
from the chase boat.....
