I think the only problem is that the foot of the jib may drag on the launcher. On the up side, the kite should come in quite easily. I only have about 4" above the pole for clearance. This is a little tight but a lot of McLube and crushing the patches helped a lot. I still have a hard time with leward take downs but it works fine for windward. Yours should be easy either way.
