Warren,

If you can get 1/8" most places you are doing great, but you can't get that
space everywhere, somewhere the deck has to touch the hull frames, unless you
can make it levitate, while bonding.

I don't remember where there were difficulties, but there were some. One thing
you want to do is to wet out the raw edge of the hull with 2 coats of resin
before bonding the hull to the deck, you don't want water getting into the
cedar and swelling it if water gets into the hull, and you can't guarantee
total coverage of that edge from the outside after bonding.

So, I'm busy fitting my deck to hull. I'm aiming for overall tolerances of
no more than 1/8" everywhere. What have others been able to get to?

I seem to be running into problems with station 6 - I suspect the hull is
slightly wider due to the width of the hybrid + epoxy, and the deck is exact
because of the jib track. Where did others run into issues?

  Thanks for your help.

  Warren
