Thanks, Bram. I'm very much looking forward to both the building and sailing. The great community of builders, and the catzooks site and list, were in no small part reasons for thinking I could attempt such an undertaking : )

And I hate to start out by asking a question, but... I was curious if anyone had attempted to use a pin nailer rather than a stapler to attach strips. I was thinking that if the pressure was turned down enough, you could fire a 1" pin nail about 1/2 way into a strip and then remove it with a tack puller when the time came. Any thoughts, gentlemen?

Thanks!

Cameron

Help me welcome our newest member Cameron Hunziker. Cameron is from Washington State near the Oregon border and the famous Columbia River Gorge. He will be our 92nd builder member and will carry sail number USA 090.

We look forward to working with you Cameron and think you'll find the support from fellow members one of the great things about our group.

Best regards,

Bram
