Warren,
You'll need to be closer than that. You will have a problem when the
assembly is right side up with station 11 (if I remember correctly) being a bit
low
and will have to move it up. When the assembly is upside down it should be
right on except that when you run the gunwale you'll need to add a small shim
or
two in the forward station outer ends. When you bend a couple of full length
strips there should be no bumps when you sight down it.
