Christian,
You forget Greg has specially trained shipfitting ferrets that move
through a boat like furred water with custom made aprons full of t-nuts
and backing plates. With the aprons, they won't fit through the
smaller holes, only the larger holes.
And they are fat ferrets, too. from the extensive biscuit reward system
Greg uses to train these highly evolved animals.
Ask for the video.

No. Thats why there are 4 port holes on the parts list. Thats 2 extras
to cut holes in your swift, they day you need to fish something out of
there, or move something you dont like. :) There will be a special
award for the one who reaches 4 port holes first...
The reason the holes are small, is because 5 and 6 inch hole cutting
bids are expensive, and you are not likely to use them again.

One thing I noticed in some of the photos showing up on the web is
that holes in some of the bulkheads are fairly small. Certainly
they are big enough to equalize air pressure but nevertheless I
think its a good idea to make them reasonably large. Apart for
making the bulkheads lighter, which I think is a minor
consideration, you will find, oneday, a need to fish something up
from the inspection ports in the aft section. Maybe it will be
only a T-nut that you could do without but if you can get a wire
or line easily through that will make the job easier and make it
possibe to move things around, even new backing plates etc if you
ever decide to move stuff or replace damaged stuff.
Something to keep in mind anyway
Greg

Robert,
It looks great. When do you think you'll be in the water (looks
like fairly soon)? Will you be coming to Florida this winter?
Best regards,
Bram
