Christian and others--a couple of other things about Spartite.
 
It works best if the gap is 1/8" or larger between the blade and the insert  
block.  Small clearances tend to trap are which cause voids.
 
Second,  When doing the uppers block, slide the lower block up close  to the 
upper block to ensure that the two block are completely parallel to each  
other.
