Any Thistle Class racers out there? I found this while seeing what class or
types of boats they had at the Maumelle Sailing Club in Arkansas. This
weekend starts the Thistle Racing at St. Pete's. An invite to their Yacht
Club might generate some lookers. http://www.thistleclass.com/MWE_NOR.html

Christian,

Regarding what to use on tiller extensions.

I prefer self adhering cork bicycle grip tape--the kind used on virtually
all high quality road bikes. It does wear out after a season or two. An
alternative is shrink tubing of the proper size. I get it at my local
hardware store.

Looking forward to seeing you in Florida.

Best regards,

Bram
