to Rob, and any at this stage, in addition to Roger's ideas, to keep the
inside of the trunk from bowing in, stand a couple of 2x4's vertically in
the trunk, if you have one tall enough you can use it to measure out to
drill the chainplate holes in the blocks between stations 7 & 8. After
marking your chain plate holes, cut the blocks down to fit inside the well
and leave them there, you can remove them after cutting the hole thru the
deck, just leave them short enough so you don't bond them in place. Here
are some pictures of how I kept everything aligned while bonding, although
you may have a better idea, it worked with no problems.
