The Class Secretary will accept checks for the regatta without the late fee so
long as they are postmarked by friday 17th March. This gives you a little
reprieve on the late fee.

Oops! Spaced on this,
Greg, can I still enter this without a late fee if I enter today? I also
need to pay for the training only section for my coach coming in from the UK.

Subject: 2006 Membership and Regatta Registration.
Greetings all Swift Solo Class Members.
Well, we have passed the early registration deadline for our North American
Regatta in Fort DeSoto FL. Attendance looks good for both the clinic and the
regatta and is set to make this regatta even more of a success than last year,
if that is possible. However, the class secretary tells me that registration
forms for some, who have indicated they are coming, have not been received yet.
In an effort to get the competitors and clinic participants details in the
system (and plan for the great giveaways and tee-shirts etc.) please send in
your checks and registration forms. The 2006 registration form is attached.
Also some legal eagles pointed out that there was a conflict between the
membership form and the rules of the class, concerning voting. So I've also
attached the updated Class Membership form. Just to reiterate, "boats vote",
there is one vote per boat owning member. Moreover, you don't have to be a boat
owner to join the class association and pitch in to help the class. Skippers
competing in regattas however, should be members in good standing.
Hope to see you all, as many as can come, with boat, or not, in Florida.
Greg Ryan
Swift Solo Class President.
