Class,
We are in the process of putting together the 2007 North American
regatta committee.
I would like to thank the following people for already volunteering;
Mark White - Tee Shirts
Robert Harper - Organizing the Clinic and handling Publicity
Bram Dally - Sponsorship, Rescue, Race Committee Liaison,
Steve Lewis - Rescue
We still need volunteers for the following tasks;
Scoring/Awards
Lodging/Social/Food
Videographer
Photographers
Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering.
We need your input on the clinic format. Several ideas has been
suggested.
1) For those new to the Swift, I think two-up sailing like Ron Radko has
done with the Musto is very good
2) Tuning testing with short courses and gate starts for the advance
racers would be good. Meet at the start for post race thoughts and tips,
reset and go at it again .
3) Practice starts with video taping. At Huntington, the RC operates
from shore so we could have a volunteer(s) run the starts and video
camera.
4) Bringing an advanced coach to the clinic.
5) Your thoughts??
We need to know what you would like do at the clinic.
