We all owe Robert a big "thank you" for taking on the task of putting
together the new site. In addition to the work he has done to date, the new
site
is very user friendly for future administrators. He has chosen an easy-to-use
management system that will require no programing experience from future
administrators. That is an important consideration in order to avoid future
situations where nobody has the key to drive the site.
Matt,
Our class is a non profit organization and we legally need to separate the
sales of plans, sail, etc. from the class business. You'll continue to find
much of the latest building and rigging ideas spelled out on
single-handedskiffs.com along with new construction pdf's. Once
Swiftsolo.com is ready, it
may be possible to post that material directly to the new site if that is the
wish of Robert and the rest of the executive committee. Ideally, we could
make single-handedskiffs.com a site with the single purpose of providing links
to material suppliers and a place to purchase Swift related stuff.
Until then, if you have trouble finding information, drop me or the mailing
list an email. You'll find out group very helpful and willing to share
information.
Regards,
Bram
