Turns out that there are still half a dozen or so campsites available at Fort DeSoto. I just booked number 50 and will be there with my family from the 14-18th. I haven't even started my boat yet but can help out with whatever during the week. I could drive a rescue boat but won't don't have one to bring. I will have two or three kayaks to play with for anyone who wants to try one. I have soloed my 29er before but can't claim any other skiff sailing skills. It should be a fun vacation however it turns out. Steve CAN 014
