Unfortunately the Photo sails are vinyl and will probably not hold up to the 
stresses involved in Skiff sailing. 
However a vinyl patch on a sail is fairly common. Some 18teens cover the whole 
sail like that. Fairly expensive though. 
The easiest ones to make are made from Dacron stickyback and some imagination..
