A Nextel unit has two numbers assigned, the normal CTX number, in my 
case is:

810-650-3663

and what's called the DirectConnect number:

130*90*35522

DirectConnect is like using a walkie talkie. It's simplex and can be 
used without having to hold the unit up against the users ear (although 
you can turn off the speaker and use the earpiece). Large following in 
the construction trades and federal, state and local criminal justice orgs.
