Dave,
Regarding the Down-haul Blocks at 75-3/4" on the Deck Layout, I had made the
backing plate and mounting holes for the old design and then Bram changed them
to two RF20174 Pivot Lead Blocks, mounted on the aft end of the mast step
channel. I may use the old eye-strap and two RF20100's as the control blocks
for
the newly designed forestay adjustment system and install the new
v-cleats/wedges on the wings, just aft of the righting system thru-hole.

For the new down-haul design, the pivot blocks are bolted to a hybrid/glass
mounting bracket that is bolted thru the mast step channel. There is space
underneath for the cunningham control line to pass forward to the RF662 block.
The mounting bracket raises the control lines above the spin sock. I made it
by laying hybrid over a 1"x4" wooden mandrel to make a U-shaped channel long
enough to fabricate two brackets, with the same hybrid/glass layup used to make
the mainsheet bracket on the boom. The U-shaped channel was then half-filled
with 406 filler and glass-fiber strands to make a solid block for mounting the
swivel blocks. The bracket stand was cut down to 2" high, sealed with
epoxy/graphite and drilled thru for the swivel block mounting holes. Below is
a
shot of the completed installation and the untrimmed spare bracket (standing on
the sock).
