I'm at the stage of chipping out the hole in the bottom of the boat for
the dagger board.

I know the fastest solution is to use a router but I've decided not to
as I have very limited experience with them and digging a hole in the
bottom of the boat is not the place to broaden this experience.

I've been very slowly getting the hole closer to the edge of the
centreboard case using a combination of saws, drills and rasps.

Does anyone have a suggestion to speed this process up or do I just have
to accept it will be slow unless I reach for the router??

Cheers

Steve
