Bram, I volunteer to have the Pretty Pumpkin, an '86 Offshore 48' my at the
venue to use as comittee boat and to take as many wifes and kids as would like
to see the races, I also have an inflatable hard bottom dinghy a little beat
up, but it still floats, that could be used to set marks and rescue which I
carry on top of the hard dodger, I plan to carry the SOLOCOCOLOCO there as
well, I launch them with an electric hoist. This would be great as my wife
will prefer her luxury accomodations I could always anchor out for the night in
the lee of the peninsula and be back on station in the morning, I have one hand
held vhf for the dinghy and the boat is equiped with its own, so the RC can
have constant comm. The only set back is the non refundable $195.00 camping
fee for campsite 104 in the doggie area which I already committed to, but we
might turn it over to afellow racer, I did that this morning because the sites
were going fast, they kept clicking off as I was trying to make reservations .
so let me know if this would suit you, and I will make arrangements, just make
the proper arrangements with the park ranger , I talked to a girl in
reservations and she said there was a ramp and floating docks with 4 ft low
tide.
I have ordered all parts that I need from Roger and as soon as get the track
from you I will glue her together and start on rigging her, I should not have
any problems finishing her by March, I have only one race Ft Laud -KW, KWRW on
jan 12th and have withdrawn from the Mia- Nassau because was on same dates as
our regatta. Thanks for the jib track, Pepe
