Hi Bob,

Is your boat finished...and do you know any websites to shop for
wetsuits...finding anything here in Helena is a challenge, and can be down
right frustrating.

  Hi Mark,

Your choice of wetsuit is pretty much determined by the temperatures (air and
water) you will be sailing in.

I was out jet skiing in New Jersey last week in 65 degree air temp and 55
degree water temp; I wore a 3/2 mm wetsuit (long sleeves and legs, 3 mm
thickness in the main body, 2 mm for the long sleeves and legs – the idea is it
keeps your core warmer). I have 5 mm neoprene dive booties for the feet and I
was toasty. I keep 2 wetsuits for watersports – a shorty and a full suit. I
use the shorty in warmer temps, I think it’s 2 mm all over. Wear a lycra rash
guard shirt under the suit. Once you layer a life vest over the suit, you will
stay pretty warm even at speed. Remember that water evaporating off your skin
surfaces in the apparent wind of a swift (which can be pretty substantial) will
make you feel cooler. Cold ears and fingers are usually the signal to get back
to shore and warm up.

  Bob

  Hello all,

What kinds of things will be needed, other than a finished boat in FL. I'll
need a trapeze harness, and I'm guessing a dolly...does anyone have any
preferences for the harness, and what model of dolly is best, and where to get
one, or has anyone built their own, or toyed with the idea. Is a wet suit
advisable, if so how heavy. Any thing else come to mind?

Will also need to know what type and oz of hybrid and carbon to use with the
foam cores and to make the rudder box, I have very little hybrid left over
from the boat.

  Sincerely,

  Mark
