Hi Robert,

well the stainless tube is out...didn't have the right size, so I think I'll
make a tube out of carbon strands...the goose neck is made of some kind of
plastic, so no worry with electrolysis. Will you be in FL in April?

Originally Bram was using a shroud spacer. 'U' shaped with holes for pins. I
noticed that on "A Series of Unfortunate Events" he had a small block with on a
track so he could adjust it while on the water.

The tube would probably work but my concern, though slight, would be that it
would not bond well to the glue and twist out at some later date. Things that
are very smooth and uniform in shape don't tend to like to stay where you put
them. It would also be a good idea to use the same metal as the pin on the
gooseneck. This would reduce the electrolysis.

What are we using for the outhaul rack on the boom, didn't see it on the list
for fisheries? Can I use a stainless tube for the goose neck receiver bonded
in the boom?

  Sincerely,

  Mark
