This means nothing to me. Could I get a part number of the Holt Allen
fitting that is being recommended? Greg received the parts package for my
rig.
What about the white material?

More recently we changed over to the same Holt Allen fitting as the jib
halyard sheave that goes in the mast (Christian deserves the credit for
this). In the past, we've often used the same fitting as the thru deck
fitting that you use on the boom for the mainsheet, however, it is a bit of
an overkill.
