Lake Macquarie is pretty average sailing compared to where I live and
even better, I know the best place in the World to sail these things.
There is a little country town about 3 hours from where I live called
Port Vincent. It has the best sailing conditions I have ever seen.
As for more Australian's, we will build them, they will come!
As for skiff sailing lessons.......I think my thoughts are best left
unsaid :-) I will say this though. I noticed at the 505 Worlds, all the
US boats had these go fast systems to make them faster on the course.
All the Aussie boats had go fast systems to help them de-rig quicker and
get to the beer earlier. I have already noticed that thought process
coming into my rigging out plans.
And Robert, would love to come to Florida! Really! I would stick one of
those rats in your tanks when you aren't watching and sail around all
day next to you, watching you try to work out what the noise is, while I
offer helpful suggestions. :-) :-)
