I believe the bowing you are finding is from the foam reshaping it self
after it is cut out of the block it started as, because I laid the cb in the
saddles on the workbench and noticed it didn't fit the saddles exactly,
(bowed in on the leading edge about 1/8").  You can fix this easily later.
Mix resin and silica, apply over the leading edge, thicker in the middle,
lay mylar over the edge and tape down tight to make a straight edge.  The
mylar doesn't stretch.  You can work the resin with your fingers, since the
mylar is covering it.  This gets the bulk of the filling done, then fair it
out.
