Hi Steve, Looks like its comparable to the US. Some words of advise. I think you will find that 1 (one) roll of the E-glass stuff is enough, so I wouldn't buy the second roll of the 1" and 2" rolls before you actually need them. Also I found that I used less than 300' of the cedar. (Its a rough calculation, but I only used about 60-70% of my 400' order) I did use Mahogany inlay on my tanks, but I doubt that took away very much cedar. Do the same thing with the epoxy (buy as you go). You dont need real Kevlar scissors, just buy some large Fiskars, In the US they are about $12 (I think they are sold world wide) They are bound to get epoxy on them anyway, and I went through 3 sets while building my swift. Add some WEST410 for fairing, its easier to fair than the other stuff they have, but not as hard. Have fun sanding, Christian Steve Nichols wrote: For those of you that are interested I attach a spreadsheet which outlines the cost to build a Swift Solo hull here in Australia. It has worked out pretty much how I expected. These costs are in Australian dollars.
